great upgrade for tracking

The fin greatly improves tracking over flatwater stretches. I'm running it with 1.5" river bites and I shaved about an inch off of it so it folds to just over 2" when hitting rocks. The only issue I've had was in very fast rocky corridors (James River in Richmond Va.) when I get even slightly sideways in strong current the board wants to whip around backwards quickly. Would highly recommend the big fin for casual rapids (2's & 3's) in anything really boney and fast the fully retractable fin is a better fit. The fin does exactly what I bought it for.
