    Handwarmer pogies

I love IR gear- it’s always well made of the best materials. I’m a glove guy, but I’m giving pogies a try for the easier on/off. At air on the low 50s and water in the low 40s my hands are a bit clammy from being damp and insulated. I did a roll practice with them and it’s a lot different moving the paddle through the water with those big walrus flippers on. Now that the air is a bit warmer and the water isn’t quite keeping pace I’m using it for warming my hands up in eddies between my turns on the wave. But getting back to the product- it’s IR, so the quality and design are awesome.

Have not had a chance to use these yet, but my buying experience with CKS was excellent as always.

A great pogie, easy hand entry

I have several up to date brands of pogies but these are the ones I use. I can actually get my hands in & out so quick that I can use them for creeking. The microwave feature is not useful as I live almost an hour from my nearest river and 2.5 hrs from most of them so warming them up at home a rediculous idea as they are cold by the time I get to the river.
