The all-new Jackson Kayak Nirvana creek boat makes you faster, more confident, and will get you through rapids with more control than ever before. A dry bow keeps you on top of holes and waves and the nimble feeling while maneuvering assures that you stay on your line in the hard rapids. Racers will be delighted to paddle this whitewater kayak as it, unlike most racing kayaks in the 9-foot range, is easy to paddle and confidence-inspiring, and the speed of it is mind-boggling. If you want a river running/creek boat that takes the rapids down a grade, the Nirvana will do that for you.
The Jackson Kayak Nirvana:
- 9 foot creek boat with the thought of racing in mind.
- You won't lose momentum on the river with this boat.
- Modern bow rocker to keep you high and dry over holes.
- The cut-off stern with its own rocker allows you to keep the bow up over waves and features.
- The edges are smooth. Allow you to slice in and out of eddies quickly.
- As a race boat, the Nirvana is lightweight with the Jackson outfitting (great for long carries)

I'm still fairly new to whitewater and am by no means an expert, but this boat is so sweet! I love how fast it is and how well it carves. It nearly carves as tight of a radius as my playboat does! I guess that's attributable to it's rocker profile and chines. It's so comfortable too and so smooth on the water. It really is a joy to paddle.
This thing is awesome.
I love the way this thing paddles. I find it to be very stable, predictable, and fast. I think no matter what your skill level is this boat is good to go. I've been paddling the medium Nirvana for a year now and I'm very satisfied. My favorite thing about this kayak is how it skims over nasty holes. It gives me confidence to stick lines that scared me before. This boat has a low center of gravity. Most other kayaks have you sitting up slightly higher which can make it easier to flip. I find with the Nirvana if you get into a low brace you can ride out just about anything. One of the last brands manufactured here in the USA . When it comes to warranty and customer service Jackson stands behind their product as well. This company is good people that give back to the Whitewater Community more than any other brand as well. I just think from a bottom-line perspective this boat is it a good purchase for many reasons.
The Nirvana was responsive and stayed on top of features with ease. I found it easy to get where I needed to go as the boat carried speed nicely
