The WRSI Moment Fullface Helmet gives you the same quality and safety that you expect and need from WRSI along with the added face protection that serious paddlers need. Protect that smile from the lurking rocks on the river!

WRSI Moment Helmet Features:

  • Features the same trusted safety technology as other WRSI Helmets along with a face guard to protect your gorgeous smile.
  • WRSI stands for Whitewater Research and Safety Institute, an organization founded to advance whitewater safety awareness and technology.
  • The Moment comes in three sizes, designed to fit a wide range of head sizes, and includes a removable, replaceable liner that snugs the helmet to your head, right out of the box.
  • A multi-impact shell combines with an EVA foam liner and a polyurethane sub-shell to effectively dissipate impacts.
  • The Interconnect Retention System securely holds the helmet in place under hydraulic forces. As the force of the water pushes the helmet back, the interconnect system self-adjusts to hold the helmet firmly in place.

"Full Coverage" Helmet that doesn't provide coverage.

I currently have a Sweet Rocker fullface which is a quality helmet that rubs all the skin off my forehead on a days float due to fact it is designed more for round heads than my oval shaped noggin. Was hoping the WRSI would provide more comfort with a comparable level of safety. The WRSI was more comfortable, but I could not get the fit adjusted to ever get the helmet to not rotate either completely forward exposing the base of skull or completely back exposing my chin. After discussing with CKS decided based on my measurements that next smaller size would probably be too small. CKS gave me the phone number to NRS, that owns WRSI, to see if they might offer a solution to improve fitment. NRS sent me a different set of shims to try. I tried every combination, but nothing worked to prevent the helmet from rotating completely forward or back. Quality of workmanship & comfort was good but a full coverage helmet that will not provide critical coverage is not a good choice for whitewater paddling. Returned helmet to CKS for refund.
