The all new Jackson Kayak Nirvana creek boat makes you faster, more confident, and will get you through rapids with more control than ever before. A dry bow keeps you on top of holes and waves and the nimble feeling while maneuvering assures that you stay on your line in the hard rapids. Racers will be delighted to paddle this whitewater kayak as it, unlike most racing kayaks in the 9' range, is easy to paddle and confidence inspiring, and the speed of it is mind boggling. If you want a river running/creek boat that takes the rapids down a grade, the Nirvana will do that for you.

I'm 5'10" and 145-150lbs. Really am diggin the way this boat paddles. I've used in all types of water. I find it to have a lot of primary stability (less secondary), great rocker making for easy boofs, and fast. I've been paddling the medium Nirvana for a few seasons now and it is my go-to creeker and is great for an aggressive paddler. The kayak is confidence inspiring, it skips over nasty holes, it sits back down quickly after popping up which helps in maintaining control, and with its edges it carves well. It stick lines easily and goes where you point it. I paddle it with the seat set back one notch and find that it allows the nose to float and then with a more aggressive forward posture it also drives pretty well. I would say generally it is an easy paddle and feels solid when flat and would not be bad for a beginner but maybe a kayak with more secondary stability would better suit newcomers. One minor note would be that the length or tail does make it a bit more prone to tail tapping on shallow boofs and ledges.
