The Hala Low-Pro River Fin 1.5 are best friend of our Hala Stompbox, this low profile fin was made to give you surefire tracking in shallow whitewater and river runs. We've maximized their space with a long body and teaming them up with the click fin boxes. Lock them in and take advantage of the surface area of the box so which is designed to actually become part of the fin. What's even more, the highest part of the fin extends past the box and is not anchored to the board, so the fin can flex away if it does hit a rock. Nothing can get in your way!
- Includes 4 grub screws per fin to secure them in river environments
- Fits any Hala side click fin boxes
- Sold as pair 2 x 1.5" Fins

Perfect low water
I'm from a low flow shallow river area. These fins give the the traction I need and keep me from bottoming out.
Best fin choice in a low water year!
I love slapping these fins in my Atcha and opening up my paddling season to all year round. My backyard river is the Eagle River and we have run it as low as 400 cfs. It gives you just enough tracking for low water runs. It is also a great choice for when you are surfing waves. LOVE THEM.
Hey Trinity! Thanks for the spot on review!
Awesome for low flow conditions and surfing
These fins are awesome! A must have if you paddle low flow rivers or surf. They're burly and track pretty well with the elongated tail.
best river fins
These fins are great for river running and although they won't keep your board tracking like a 9" center fin, they will help a little when you're on your edge on a surf wave. The starboard fins were previously my favorite river fins because they won't break, but they are little overpriced for what you're getting. These hala fins offer just as much or even more tracking with a super low profile. Make sure you screw in all four grub screws because it's still possible rip it out if you're side scraping over a rock ledge or something like that. They're really flexible ... I just don't see them breaking like some of the other FCS fins I've tried.
Paddling shallow rivers? These fins will help you from running to the end of your board when you catch a rock (Superman) . The design really makes sense. Gives you some tracking but with a very low profile. At 67 I don't bounce as well as I used to and I have the bruises to prove it.Steve"You don't need to change rivers, change boats"
