This is quite possible the biggest pain in the A$$ to get into a Jackson Antix Large. The stern foam goes so far back that you can not reach it by hand. You have to use a wire hanger and something to tie the float to I’m order to get it to pull around. Even then though the float will be a little twisted from having to yank it through, and again, you can not reach the back to adjust it. I purchased this because your QA section says it will fit. This is true, it will go in there, but I do not recommend this float bag for any of the Antix sizes. Will see how the bag hold up to quality after having to tug on it very hard.
Hey Andrew sorry to see you struggling! The fun float is actually designed this way with the Horseshoe shape, meaning as hard as it is to get into to your boat deflated , its almost impossible to come out of your boat inflated , no matter how rough of swim you take you will never be struggling wondering why your float bags came out. As always if your not happy with the product give us a call and we get you in some more traditional float bags. Thanks - Shea
5 stars for concept and 1 star on Jackson warranty
Nice concept. Fit well in my wavesport m_bius 49. Only problem was it wouldn't hold air. After checking it all over I found a pin hole in it. Brand new and Jackson required me to pay to ship back to them and pay to have it returned. Bobby said to send letter to say I shouldn't have to pay for shipping but wasn't going to take the chance. I kept it and slapped a patch on it. So I give it 5 stars for concept and 1 star for warranty. Come on Jackson. Stand behind your products!!!
FUN Float is a winner!
Fits the Super Fun and Monstar perfectly!
Best floatbags I have used in 19 years of whitewater kayaking.
After using the larger version in my Jackson Zen 75 I got the Fun Float for my Fluid Dope playboat. They both work great when used in the correct sized boat. They provide great stern flotation while leaving room in back of seat for hand paddles and small bags or camera dry box.Ocassionaly have to reposition float to clear drainplug, but that is often needed with dual floatbags.
Inflation hose to short for anything but a Fun
I bought this for my Jackson SuperHero. I wanted a smaller float bag to leave a little room for other gear. Now that it is inflated the bag works fine but the hose is to short to reach out from under the back deck. I could not inflate the bag with my mouth, I had to use an air compressor, which worked fine but I can't add more air out on the river.
