I’m a 35” waist (36” loose, 34” tight) I want a pair of Shambala shorts but what size should I get? (M) or (L) ? Please and thank you....
Sacrifice Some Function for Style, But Still Are Quality Shorts
I love the length, the materials, and the the thin neoprene liner. Also, they look stylish. But they need a belt. I fit pretty well in the shorts but they still tend to ride down slightly in my kayak. I added a belt, which works OK but would work better if there were belt loops in the front, and it looks like the awkward add-on that it is. There's no excuse for those non-functional velcro things on the waist that are a pathetic attempt to provide waist adjustment. They are weak and ****** and they do nothing. Also, why just one pocket? It's a nice pocket, good zipper, but there's plenty of room on these shorts for one to three more pockets. Pockets are useful. Add more pockets. You get the feeling that these shorts were designed in a hurry by somebody who didn't really think things through.
Not too shabby
From reviews I read I ordered a small due to reading that they run pretty big. They barely fit but aren't too tight. Asides the sizing issue I love these shorts. Happy I purchased them, just wish I got a medium.
Well made, designed for warmth and padding. Disappointed in the elastic waistband pulls. They don't do much to tighten the waist and the Velcro chafes against my skin. A pocket on both sides, instead of one, would be nice.
Great shorts for kayaking or SUP
They are great. Warm and offer some protection with the neoprene just in case.Sizing is a bit strange. I would be a LG in most other brands. I'm a MD in these. The quality is top notch...Cheers, Atom....
