Dan Piano Reviews The GoPro Hero HD Cam

Dan Piano Reviews The GoPro Hero HD Cam

Overview: Do you like having photo and video of your adventures but hate to stop and take the time to shoot the videos and photos? The GoPro HD camera is the most hands free economical way to capture stunning images without being hassled with setting up a shot. Just clip it on and press record and go do what you do; it's that easy. The mounting hardware allows you to be very creative with where you mount the camera. I would honestly say this is the coolest piece of technology I have come across since the iPod. Specs:

Pros:

  • Small
  • Durable
  • Comes with a variety of mounting options that work great!
  • Simple to use
  • Comes with its own waterproof and impact resistant case.
  • Excellent image quality
  • Affordable

Cons:

  • No viewfinder. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what the shot is going to look like until you get home. They just came out with a piggyback viewfinder that resolves this issue!
  • It’s tricky for the user to tell if the camera is recording.
  • No zoom

The Verdict:

From amateur to pro videographers the GoPro HD is an excellent primary or secondary camera that produces quality video & still images. This camera will capture all of your adventures for years to come

Here are a couple of videos I’ve put together with my brief time with the camera. They are both shot with 100% GoPro HD. Kayak video from Costa Rica.
