Shipping policy
Colorado Kayak Supply Online (CKSO) strives to ship all orders within 1 business day of submission. We attempt to stock all the sizes and color options we offer, however, due to a variety of factors, it is possible that we may not have the specific make and model in the specific color you selected. If this occurs, a customer service representative will contact you with color choices and estimated availability of the make, model, and color you requested.
Estimate Shipping
Please use the Estimate Shipping option on the product page and during checkout to calculate an accurate shipping cost for your items.
If a shipping option is not available when you check out, it is because we are unable to ship the items in your cart at your desired rate.
*Free Shipping Exclusions Apply. Orders totaling over $149.00 will qualify for free shipping if they may ship via USPS. Oversized items including but not limited to: kayaks, rafts, SUPs, raft frames, paddles/oar shafts, coolers, dry boxes and skis must ship UPS and therefore are excluded from our free shipping offer.
Shipping Times + Signatures
We work hard to get your gear to you in a timely fashion, and even harder to help hit deadlines you might have to get on the water quickly. However, unfortunately, we can only control so many factors. We do our best with logistics companies but can never guarantee any ETAs.
If you would like to have a signature required for your order, please reach out to our customer service team after you place your order to see if it is a possibility.
Kayak Shipping
Colorado Kayak Supply Online ships kayaks directly to local Freight Terminals in order to save time and money, and also to minimize the risk of boat damage while in transit. Simply choose the Terminal Shipping option at checkout. If you prefer your kayak ships directly to your address, we will also accommodate that for an additional charge.
In unique situations, Colorado Kayak Supply Online reserves the right to request additional shipping fees to match the true cost of kayak shipping. If this happens, we will contact you before shipping the kayak and work with you to find the most cost-effective and efficient shipping solution possible. This is common for shipping to remote areas.
Colorado Kayak Supply Online also reserves the right to explore other kayak delivery options for the customer, such as shipping a kayak to a freight terminal near the customer for the customer to pick up, in order to save on shipping costs. If this option is deemed necessary by Colorado Kayak Supply Online, we will contact you before shipping the kayak to discuss options moving forward.
You also have the option to pick up kayaks at our Denver warehouse. Please call or email our Customer Service team to schedule. If you want to change your shipping method after your purchase is placed, email us and we may be able to accommodate this.
Important Note For Kayak Orders
Once the freight carrier is getting ready to deliver your kayak, they will call within 24 hours of delivery to let you know when your kayak is arriving. Once the boat is unloaded from the truck, please inspect the boat for any damages before you sign the delivery receipt.
Inspection at the time of delivery is essential – once you sign for the boat you are accepting the condition the boat is in and we are unable to file a claim with the carrier for any damages that occurred during delivery. If there is any damage do not sign and call us immediately. We do not ship boats with any damage unless it is specifically marked as 'blemished' at the time of purchase.
When you are inspecting the boat please be respectful of the driver's time as they are often on a tight schedule.
Alaska + Hawaii Rates
Orders shipped outside of the continental US are subject to additional charges. Please use the Estimate Shipping function on the product page or checkout to view current rates.
International Shipping Rates
At the moment, CKSO is not shipping internationally due to extremely high rates of lost and damaged goods. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. We plan on resuming shipping internationally in the future, once international shipping logistics become more reliable.
Local Pickup
Products are available for free pickup at our retail store in Denver, Confluence Kayak & Ski. If you select local pickup for your order at checkout, you will be contacted by our customer service team detailing your order's location and availability. If your order has been ready for pickup for seven days or more and an extended pickup date was not previously arranged, CKSO reserves the right to cancel the order for a full refund.
Returns + Exchanges
