JIMMY PRICER REVIEWS THE PYRANHA BURN III
That's Jimmy, stoked on his new boat.
Jimmy called CKS a few weeks back, and was curious about the differences between the Dagger Mamba and the new Pyranha Burn III. He ended up purchasing a Medium Size Pyranha Burn III. Here is a brief review that Jimmy sent us after paddling the boat a few times.
Hey,
So after a 4 day paddling extravaganza I can honestly say there is nothing I don't like about the New Burn. It's super fast and catches more eddy's per rapid. It's surfs and spins like an oversize playboat. It tracks like it's on a rail but it is also nimble and catches eddy's like a much smaller boat. Very predictable when punching waves and holes and accelerates out of the foam pile. I find myself taking about half of the paddle strokes I usually do to get around the river. Even though it has a great edge it is very user friendly and not at all grabby. I'm super stoked on my decision to buy this boat over the others I tried. But no matter what boat I'm in I will always portage Big Falls on the canyon section of the South Fork of the Payette. (See photo.)
Cheers,
Jimmy
