SKETCHY CLASS V+ KAYAKING SWIM

BIG WATER CLASS V SWIM

Let's be honest, it sucks to take a swim in whitewater. That's why we are all kayakes and not stand up paddlers...just kidding, we all SUP when no one is looking. Even worse than swimming in whitewater, is swimming the clase cinco. Here in Colorado, one of the scariest places to swim out of your boat is Barrel Springs Rapids on the Colorado River. It's big, it's steep, it's filled with manky roadside rock, and it's a place that you do not want to have an out of boat experience without a good crew. Fortunately for this guy, he had a super solid crew with him and got to shore quickly. Check out the action - it will make you want to work on your class V hand rolls!
