Yea, we know the letters
"SUP" seem to be everywhere. SUP stands for Stand Up Paddle boarding and is one of the fastest growing outdoor sports on the planet. It makes sense. Summer is here. It's hot and playing in the water is calling. Stand up paddling is easy to learn and super fun on your local lake, easy rivers, and even the ocean. And for those adrenaline progressive seekers you'll be challenged to progress to the highest levels of surfing and river running.
"Am I good enough to SUP?"
SUP boarding is as easy as paddling a canoe but has a multiple fun factor. Most are surprised just how easy it is to learn. It's super cool for dog owners and parents to paddle around a lake playing in the water.
"Will I like SUP boarding on the lake and river?"
Do you love jumping off lake docks or cliffs to cool off in the heat of summer? Lake skiing? Or floating down rivers? If you said yes to any of these then you're going to love SUP boarding. It's playing in the water at it's best. Just imagine you and friends paddling to your local laguna or surfing.

"OK. Where is the best place to start?"
Do you have a nearby lake or access to an easy flowing river? You'll have a blast taking your dog or kids with you to the lake as you practice just paddling and jumping in the water. Couples enjoy SUP boarding too.
"Can I demo a SUP board before I buy?"
CKS has a weekly SUP pond demo each Tuesday at 6:00 pm. You'll have access to a variety of boards to try and instructors to give you advice. The cool part is just getting on the water and seeing how much fun paddling is. Give CKS a quick call to get the details and we'll take care of you.
