Why is Dinky a step up? Mandatory waterfalls, some of which can be scouted and then the chuck and huck portage. For me, this was harder than any drop, especially when your boat fills up with water just before the next drop.

Dinky is an amazing run! If you go, be ready to hike though thickets, have trouble being able to scout drops and maybe having to run a few things (Willies) blind unless your an amazing rock climber. But its worth the effort and a classic California run.Photos by Chris Menges and Tim Kelton
