Dan Piano Reviews The Pyranha Everest Whitewater Kayak

If you like big boofs, sticking your line, making your friends look like rookies, and you and all your gear are weighing in at 165 – 300 pounds, than the Pyranha Everest is the boat for you. Based on the very successful Burn design, the Everest features a softer edge, a more aggressive profile, and more rocker than it’s predecessor. This is an unbelievably stable creeker with two more gallons than the large Burn.

Pros:

  • FAST
  • Extremely stable
  • Awesome tracking ability
  • Bomber outfitting
  • Charges through holes
  • Plenty of room for gear
  • High quality construction with attention to detail (no zip ties, pipe clamps, or couch seats)
  • Large cockpit for easy entry and exit

  • Comes with sick Pyranha sponge

Cons:

  • Outfitting made of many parts/pieces
  • Not the best low water mank boat (pointy ends/edges)

The verdict:

If you are a bigger paddler or carrying a lot of gear there’s no better boat on the market today than the Pyranha Everest.
