Description
Spud, Spud Muffin, Slaytertot, call it what you will. The AIRE Tributary Spud is proof that good things come in small sizes. This thing may be short, but it's nothing short of awesome!
While this boat is marketed as a youth kayak, they won't be growing out of it anytime soon, as it's plenty capable for adults under 200 pounds as well. You might end up fighting over who gets to use it...
When used with thigh straps, we've found the Spud to be about the closest you can get to a hardshell kayak feel in an inflatable kayak; you can even roll it if you're good enough!
The Spud crushes runs that you would never think an inflatable this small would be capable of running. It's a bit slow versus other designs, but what it lacks in speed it makes up for in its maneuverability and overall whitewater performance. From boofing pour-overs to side surfing a play wave, this little boat does it all.
The Spud rolls up smaller than a Paco Pad and inflates with a K-pump in about two minutes. It's the perfect small craft to bring along on river trips.
Get Spuddy with it, and be pretty fly for a French Fry!
