The AIRE Deluxe Thigh Staps are the perfect addition to any Inflatable Kayak. These are lace-in straps that attach to your bail ports and give you better control of your Inflatable Kayak by allowing it to respond to movements of your lower body more effectively. When using these with a small IK like a Tributary Spud, you can roll the IK like a hardshell kayak if you are talented enough.
Pro Tip
Thigh Straps should sit comfortably over the top of your leg and knee, and should come off your knees if you extend your legs straight forward in front of you. Never place your legs through the thigh straps, as this could lead to entrapment if you capsize.
