Back in the day, when all rafting equipment was military surplus, the large ammo cans known as rocket boxes were the orignal drybox.  They still are widely used today for transporting gear in a crushproof waterproof box thats easy to rig and carry.  Commonly used with eco-safe toilet system these dryboxes are very versatile.  When used for food or kitchen supplies at the begining of the trip they can carry garbage or recycling on the way out.  Rocket Boxes feature a tension clamp-down lid, a rubber seal gasket, and carrying handles.
