Why She'll Love Astral Women's Shoes

Astral white water shoes: The best rubber on the market. Astrals are unbeatable for kayaking shoes. They make great shoes for any paddle sport she loves! And their warranty and customer service is top notch, in addition to their style.

We love them all, so we wanted to tell you why we love each one.

Brewess 2.0

These shoes are great for any runs you may have to scout with - the Brewess 2.0 will stick on some of the slipperiest of rocks with their G Rubber soles. They drain water easily but still miraculously keep your feet warm, so they’re also great for intense boating, too. The updated Brewess 2.0 design kicks butt with a more round toe and cushion is great.

LoyakAC

The LoyakAC is a lightweight casual water shoe that would be great for a day of tubing or relaxing by the lake. It’s super lightweight and breathable. We like having shoes that can stylishly go from the river, to the trail, to the barstool and Astral's Loyak ACs do just that.

Loyak

Astral’s Loyak is a low volume water shoe that gives you grip and foot protection – without sacrificing being able to feel your board. This is important when SUP surfing. The Loyaks are the closest thing to being barefoot and perform like a water tennis shoe. That being said, these whitewater shoes a very comfortable and great on and off the river.

Porter

For casual wear,  you can rock Astral Porter shoes designed for women. You really can’t go wrong with this shoe – they’re like outdoor slippers. We love how these water shoes look when paired with leggings or a dress.

Rosa

A great, less bulky alternative to Chacos, these flip-flops are a great summer shoe and overall high-tech sandal. The sticky rubber is great for for walking around camp (no slipping!), and these do not fall off your feet unlike some flip-flops we’ve owned in the past. Cute tan lines are also a plus :)

Women-Specific

We have to hand it to Astral for offering a spectrum of shoe sizing for women, including half sizes! I have fairly small feet so it’s really nice to have the option to buy an “adult” shoe rather than be forced into purchasing a kid’s wetshoe or booty. The only thing we wish for is for Rasslers in a smaller size (they only go to size 8). Generally, Astral recommends to size down when purchasing a shoe.

Some women like to wear thin socks with their astrals to prevent any on-the-water chafe and subsequent blisters (because Astral shoes are so well draining, sand will get in and rub!)

Buying Footwear From CKS

CKS offers returns on all footwear (that you didn’t use/take into the water), as long as you send it back with all of the original packaging. See more at our return policy here.
