The Astral Loyak Women's Shoe is an ultra-low profile and flexible water shoe, allowing you to fit it inside any kayak comfortably. The upper section of the Loyak is made of durable, quick-drying and comfortable Cordura fabric that is stitched directly to a flexible & durable non-marking G 15 rubber sole that grips wet rocks with ease. The Loyak is perfect for kayaking, SUPing, rafting, or sailing and is stylish enough to wear around town after boating!
- Durable and quick drying 1000 denier Cordua upper
- G 15 rubber is non marking and keeps you upright and stable while walking on wet surfaces
- Reduced sole thickness for flexibility, comfort and the ability to wear the Loyak in any kayak
- Drainage holes at the toe and heel let water escape while reducing the entry of sediment into the shoe
- Available Sizes: Women's 6-10
Pro Tip: The Loyak wears more like a climbing shoe than a street shoe. The shoe is intended to be tight-fitting and moves with your foot better than other shoes. While it offers superior grip, the thinner soles mean you will feel the sharpness of rocks a bit more then the sole than a shoe like the Brewer or Brewess.

Great all around
I've worn these for dog walks along the river, to school, and paddling in my kayak. The loyaks are great for it all. If you want a shoe you can go from the river to work or vice versa and still be stylish this is your shoe.
Loyaks are a great all-around shoe! Thanks for your review, Emily!
So so comfortable and utilitarian
I’ve used these for biking, hiking, boating and gardening. So many uses for one pair of shoes.
Super comfy, cute but...
Getting them on takes just a bit longer than I'd like for water shoes. I feel like there needs to be just a little bit more stretch or something to make them quicker/easier to get on. I like to take my water shoes off when I'm on my SUP so shoes that are easy to get on/off are just part of my thang. They are super cute and comfy though just needs a bit more tweaking for me to give them 5.
I love these shoes. Extremely comfortable. Debated about buying because there were no reviews. Took a chance and couldn't be happier. Got them to use in kayak and rock hop. I paddle a wave sport project x 48 and I am very comfortable. I usually wear anywhere from 7.5 to 8.5 for my shoes. Decided on the 7 and they are great. Not a lot of extra toe room but enough. They would have been too big if I had gone with an 8. Very happy I took the chance.
shoes are awesome
I was worried about buying these since no one had written any reviews. I typically wear a woman's 7.5 or 8 and decided on the 7. Fit's great. There isn't alot of extra room in the toe but I don't need it, especially jammed into a play boat. I have a wave sport project 48 for reference and they work great. Only have worn them once paddling but they were comfortable walking around and in the boat. Very happy so far and getting out of the boat onto the slippery rocks was a breeze!!!
